Finding a new home is not always an easy process. You may have been searching for a while for the right property, at the right price and in the right area. When you eventually do find something, you will like to make sure that you view it quickly before it gets snapped up by someone else. If you feel it is the right property for you, you will want to be able to secure it and move in with as little stress and hassle as possible.
At Pointview Estates we aim to make the process stress free by being friendly and accommodating, thereby ensuring that you can move in and start enjoying the next phase of your life. That’s why we work late as well as on the weekends so that the process can go as smoothly as possible. We will carefully consider your and your family?s requirements so that we can match you to the ideal property.
How it works
When you register with Pointview Estates we will take your particulars and pay special attention to the type of property you are looking for in London or the Home Counties. We will notify you as soon as we have something suitable and arrange a viewing to suit you. Alternatively, you can view available properties on our website by clicking here. If you need to view the property outside of working hours we offer the flexibility to be able to do this.
Upon deciding on the ideal house or flat, you will need to pay a holding deposit either by debit/credit card or payment into our account. A holding deposit form will then be emailed to you and the property will subsequently be taken off the market and reserved for you subject to references approval.
We will then proceed with the references process via email which usually consists of the following ?
- ? Photo ID ? passport or driving licence
- ? Affordability checks (you will need to have, and be able to prove, a combined gross income of around 2.5 times the rental amount)
- ? Previous landlord references
- ? Right to rent immigration checks
- ? Credit checks for tenants
Once you have satisfied all aspects of the application process we will then agree a date and time for you to sign the tenancy agreement in our office.
There are lots of things to consider when moving into a new property; we have put together a checklist which we hope you will find useful. It can be found by clicking here.
We hope this information is helpful. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions regarding the process.
